Saudi label HINDAMME has teamed up with Madrasat Addeera for a limited-edition collection inspired by AlUla’s ancient landscapes, inscriptions and craft traditions.
Saudi Arabia’s fashion scene continues to draw strength from the Kingdom’s cultural identity. Now, a new AlUla-inspired fashion collection is turning ancient heritage into contemporary design, bringing together storytelling, craftsmanship and wearable art.
Created by Saudi fashion label HINDAMME in collaboration with Madrasat Addeera, the limited-edition collection celebrates more than 7,000 years of human history. The line takes inspiration from AlUla’s landscapes, archaeological sites and ancient rock carvings, transforming them into modern garments rooted in Saudi identity.
Designed by Saudi fashion designer Mohammed Khoja, the collection reflects AlUla’s position as one of the region’s most important cultural destinations. Long regarded as a crossroads of civilisations, AlUla has become a powerful source of inspiration for artists, designers and creatives. Here, its stories are expressed through fabric, form and detail.
Rather than simply referencing the past, the collection reinterprets it through contemporary silhouettes and textile techniques. The result is a direct conversation between Saudi heritage and modern fashion, designed for those who value cultural depth as much as style.

The AlUla-inspired apparel collection includes a curated selection of abayas and shirts. Each piece draws from the region’s historical and natural motifs, including ancient rock carvings from sites such as Jabal Ikmah, inscriptions dating back to the first millennium BCE, native flora and local wildlife. These elements are woven into the garments as detailed textile narratives, allowing AlUla’s history and environment to take centre stage.
Craftsmanship is also at the heart of the collaboration. Each piece takes between one and two months to complete, reflecting the time, precision and patience required for handmade production. The collection uses traditional Saudi techniques, including block printing, hand embroidery, silk-screen printing and metalwork detailing.

More than 26 artisans from Madrasat Addeera contributed to the production process, bringing local knowledge and craft skills to every garment. This commitment to slow fashion gives the collection a sense of authenticity while supporting the preservation of traditional techniques.
The collaboration between HINDAMME and Madrasat Addeera marks an important moment for Saudi Arabia’s growing fashion industry. By merging heritage with contemporary design, the collection presents AlUla as more than a destination. It becomes a source of creative expression, connecting ancient history, skilled artisans and modern Saudi fashion in one cohesive design story.
