The superstar shows will return with the launch of Riyadh Season 2025, beginning with the Saudi musical icon, Mohammed Abdo. Taking place on 16 October, the singing sensation is all set to mesmerise fans at the aptly named Mohammed Abdo Theatre.
Affectionately known as the “Artist of the Arabs,” Mohammed Abdo promises a night of passion and musical brilliance in Riyadh. The singer has over 125 albums to his name, including the widely acclaimed Abaad. His repertoire boasts more than 300 patriotic songs, each a testament to his legacy and influence on Arabic music.
Throughout his career, Abdo has achieved numerous milestones. He was the first to sing the “Al Sanaaniya” song with a musical orchestra, and the first Arab artist to use the term “Habibty” in singing. His international acclaim reached new heights when he became the first Saudi artist to perform at the Paris Opera. He was honoured with the Diamond Jubilee award in recognition of his 60 years of artistic contribution.
With an illustrious six-decade-long career, Abdo is one of Saudi music’s most influential figures. Renowned for his ability to present local music in a universally resonant manner, he has captivated audiences not only in the Middle East but worldwide.
