Riyadh Season is one of the cultural highlights in Saudi Arabia. Bringing together arts, entertainment, restaurants and family-friendly fun, it takes place each year. Now, the dates for Riyadh Season 2025 have been announced, and it’s set to take place from Friday, 10 October 2025.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has announced the opening of the sixth edition of Riyadh Season via a post on Instagram. The expanded event will feature 11 entertainment zones, as well as diverse international events, including 15 world championships and 34 exhibitions and festivals.
What’s new at Riyadh Season 2025?
Macy’s iconic New York balloons are set to make their Riyadh debut, bringing a lively parade of dancing, floats, performances and music that will open Riyadh Season 2025. The Riyadh Season Opening Season parade sets off from Boulevard City, featuring a 300-strong procession and 25 floats alongside more than 3,000 dancers and performers. Selected streets will be closed on opening day.
Among the biggest debuts is Beast Land, created in collaboration with global influencer MrBeast. Opening on 13 November, 200,000-square-meter zone will feature over 27 rides and experiences, 40 restaurants and stores, as well as interactive games and prizes, with MrBeast set to attend the grand opening.
The Flying Over Saudi Arabia experience, which promotes tourism across various regions of the Kingdom, will also debut this season. This project, developed over three years, enables up to 90 people to simultaneously experience an interactive aerial journey across Saudi destinations.
His Excellency also announced the launch of new zones, including Boulevard Flowers. Opening on 18 November, the new zone spans 215,000 square meters and features over 200 million flowers, 200 floral sculptures, and three Boeing 777 aircraft, alongside 40 restaurants and cafés.
For the first time in its history, Riyadh Season will feature a floating AROYA Cruise entertainment zone, offering an experience on the Red Sea. The cruise features 14 destinations, 29 restaurants and cafés, ten spa and fitness facilities, and 20 entertainment areas, providing a fully integrated luxury leisure experience.
Which attractions are returning to Riyadh Season 2025?
Boulevard World will feature enhanced content this year, including 1,600 shops, 350 restaurants and cafés, 40 rides and experiences, and 24 subzones, three of which are new: Kuwait, South Korea, and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Boulevard City will offer a rich array of entertainment, including eight sports tournaments, such as the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship and the Saudi Masters Darts. It will also host 19 entertainment experiences, including six new ones such as Minecraft and Poppy Playtime, along with 20 Arabic concerts and 14 new theatrical productions.
Opening on 5 November, The Groves remains one of the most upscale destinations of the season, bringing together seven fine-dining restaurants and 16 high-end stores, offering visitors an exceptional luxury shopping and dining experience.
Riyadh Zoo, opening 20 November, has been redeveloped to house over 1,600 animals from 170 species across six themed zones, providing educational and interactive experiences for families and children. Meanwhile, Al-Suwaidi Park will re-open on 2 November, showcasing 13 cultures, hosting countries such as Yemen, Sudan, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India — through 49 concerts, 84 theatre performances, and 100 cultural carnivals.
Sneaker Con will return to Boulevard City for the second year, while Auto Show Riyadh will be held at Kingdom Arena, featuring 50 cars as prizes for attendees.

What events are happening at Riyadh Season 2025?
Riyadh Season has often welcomed world-famous sports stars, from boxing to football. The confirmed sporting events include the Six Kings Slam Tennis Championship, the Ring IV boxing card, Power Slap 17, the WTA Finals, and the Longines Global Champions Tour. In a landmark first, WWE Royal Rumble will take place in January 2026.
On the business front, the Joy Forum will run from 16 to 17 October, gathering leading entertainment executives and professionals for high-level discussions, networking, and new industry partnerships. Meanwhile, Via Riyadh will host “Ana Arabia,” a cultural celebration of Arab heritage, creativity, and identity, featuring art, music, and live performances. The calendar is also stacked with headline events, including the Joy Awards and the Jewellery Salon exhibition.

Riyadh Season is part of Saudi Seasons, which includes Sharqiyah Season in March and Jeddah Season in June. Riyadh Season, launched in 2019, is the largest festival of its kind in the Middle East. The event takes over the capital with A-list sport stars, celebrity chefs and singing sensations.
