The new hotel and residences will be located in one of the kingdom’s most beautiful natural areas.
Diriyah is fast becoming one of Saudi Arabia’s most exciting developments. Whether it’s the dining destination, Bujairi Terrace, or the UNESCO World Heritage Site, At-Turaif, it makes for a great day out. Now, it has added the soon-to-open hotel, The Chedi Wadi Safar, to the ever-growing list.
The Chedi Wadi Safar will be located approximately 14 minutes north of Riyadh. The Diriyah site is home to Wadi Safar, which is renowned for being one of the most beautiful natural areas in the kingdom.
The Chedi Wadi Safar draws inspiration from the location’s rich heritage, and aims to be a historic, cultural and lifestyle destination. Its serene environment will pay a fitting tribute to the majestic Wadi Safar by delivering its renowned, authentic and unrivalled approach to hospitality.

The Chedi Hotel is set to bring its signature elegance to Diriyah. The property will feature 85 keys, blending Najdi traditions with contemporary flair. You can expect world-class hospitality, complete with dining, wellness experiences including a pool, and spaces that complement the natural landscape.
The Chedi Residences will be limited to just 20 branded villas, set dramatically into the cliffs of Wadi Safar. These four- and five-bedroom homes will blend seamlessly into their surroundings, offering unparalleled privacy and breathtaking vistas overlooking the golf course. With a lounge, billiard room, and much more, the residences redefine luxury living with an emphasis on culture and community.

The Chedi Wadi Safar is just one of 15 hotels opening in Diriyah and Wadi Safar. Diriyah is famous for being the original capital of Saudi Arabia, as it was once the seat of power for the Al Saud family. During the 18th and 19th centuries, it was home to the founder of the first Saudi state, Mohammed bin Saud.

The Chedi brand began with The Chedi Phuket in 1995 and can now be found across the world, from Miami to Muscat. Plus, in the Middle East, the brand opened the much-loved The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah, The Chedi in Katara Cultural Village, Doha and The Chedi Hegra in Al Ula. Details of when The Chedi Wadi Safar will open are under wraps, but stay tuned to find out.
