Burnt Ends, Meta, Peach Blossoms, and Thevar have all earned places on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 extended list ahead of the main rankings reveal.
In the world of fine dining, few accolades hold as much influence as Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026. Each year, the ranking spotlights the region’s most exciting culinary destinations, while the extended list, covering positions 51 to 100, recognises restaurants that continue to shape Asia’s dining landscape beyond the main top 50.
Ahead of the full Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 rankings announcement, Singapore has already made a strong impression, with four restaurants securing places on the extended list. The result reinforces the city-state’s standing as one of Asia’s most compelling food capitals, where ambitious chefs, refined concepts and diverse cuisines continue to thrive.

Leading the charge for Singapore is Thevar, which lands at No. 58. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant, led by chef Mano Thevar, has climbed significantly from No. 70 in 2025. Known for its modern Indian cuisine, Thevar draws on the chef’s Penang heritage and French training under Guy Savoy, resulting in a menu that feels both personal and polished. Among its standout signatures is the Irish Oysters with rasam vinaigrette and sambal oil, a dish that captures the restaurant’s bold and elegant approach.
Just one place behind is Burnt Ends at No. 59. A firm favourite on Singapore’s dining scene, the restaurant remains celebrated for its confident wood-fired cooking and Australian barbecue influences. Helmed by chef Dave Pynt alongside executive chef Patrick Leano, Burnt Ends may have slipped from No. 38 on the 2025 main list into this year’s extended rankings, but its reputation as one of the city’s most in-demand tables remains firmly intact.

Meta, which comes in at No. 77, also marks a notable shift from last year after previously placing No. 39 on the 2025 main list. The two-Michelin-starred restaurant is led by chef Sun Kim, whose tasting menus blend Korean flavours with Western techniques, offering a precise, contemporary and thoughtful experience. True to its name, which references metamorphosis, Meta continues to evolve through seasonal menus that change every three months.
Rounding out Singapore’s presence is Peach Blossoms at No. 97. Located within PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the Cantonese restaurant is helmed by chef Edward Chong and is known for combining traditional techniques with a more contemporary presentation. Premium seafood, refined broths and a serene dining room with skyline views all add to its appeal.

Singapore performed strongly on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, with six restaurants appearing on the main list: Odette, Les Amis, Labyrinth, Burnt Ends, Meta and Euphoria. The focus now shifts to whether the city can repeat that success when the full 2026 rankings are unveiled on 25 March in Hong Kong.
For now, these four restaurants have already secured their place among the region’s most exciting dining destinations.
