Step inside the dome and prepare for a VR journey through history.

Louvre Abu Dhabi has never been short on innovation, but its latest launch might just be its most ambitious yet. Introducing the Quantum Dome, a virtual reality experience that blends art, history and technology into one immersive time-travel adventure. Now open at the museum’s Lower Forum, this cutting-edge installation invites visitors to walk through some of the world’s most fascinating eras, all without leaving Saadiyat Island.

Designed as a 360-degree journey, the Quantum Dome offers a fully immersive experience that’s equal parts educational and entertaining. Over the course of 40 minutes, visitors are transported across centuries, from the streets of Imperial Rome and the libraries of Medieval Baghdad to the courts of Mughal India. Thanks to advanced VR technology, striking details and seamless transitions, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped straight into the pages of a history book.

Created to appeal to all ages, the Quantum Dome is both a family-friendly experience and an impressive feat of storytelling and innovation. The experience is now open and will run until June 2026, providing visitors with ample time to discover this thrilling new addition to the museum’s programming. Tickets are priced at AED 120 per person and include general admission to the museum. Groups of four or more can enjoy a reduced rate of AED 95 per person, making it an ideal outing for families or friends.

Whether you’re planning your next date, a weekend family activity, or a solo cultural escape, Quantum Dome is a must-try for anyone curious about where the past meets the future.
