Let’s get loud! It looks like the American superstar Jennifer Lopez is returning to Abu Dhabi following her successful performance at Saadiyat Nights in February. The singer’s Up All Night summer tour is expected to make a stop in the capital on Tuesday, 29 July at Etihad Arena.

Jennifer Lopez, as her hit single Jenny from the Block tells us, hails from New York in the United States. She grew up in the Bronx to a Puerto Rican family, and went on to become an actor and singer. She got her first break as a dancer in the television series In Living Color and worked as a backup dancer for the singer Janet Jackson. 

In 1999, Jennifer released her debut album On The 6. The album included the hit singles If You Had My Love, Let’s Get Loud and Waiting for Tonight. Her top tracks also include Ain’t It Funny, Get Right, I’m Real and Love Don’t Cost A Thing. Over her career, she has sold more than 80 million records. She has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Billboard Icon Award and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. 

Jennifer has also made her mark in movies. She has starred in the films Maid in Manhattan, Marry Me, Monster-in-Law and Shall We Dance? In 2019, she starred in the film Hustlers, and she received nominations at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild.

According to a post on the singer’s official Instagram account, tickets to see Jennifer Lopez in Abu Dhabi will go on sale soon. “To all my international JLovers, I’ll be doing a few select show dates over the summer.
