Join the Hag Al Leila festivities
Hag Al Leila is a beloved Emirati tradition celebrated on the 15th night of Sha’ban, around two weeks before Ramadan. Marking community spirit and generosity, children carry decorated bags, go door to door singing songs, reciting poetry and asking for treats with the phrase “Atoona Hag Al Leila” (“Give us for this night”). Families reward them with sweets, nuts and small gifts, keeping a time-honoured custom alive across the UAE. Dance to the hits of Yo Yo Honey Singh
Indian rap superstar Yo Yo Honey Singh will officially launch his new world tour, My Story, in Dubai. The first stop on the tour will be the Coca-Cola Arena, where a full house and high-decibel sing-alongs feel all but guaranteed. If you remember the 2011 music video for “Brown Rang,” you will recall Burj Khalifa looming in the background. The track catapulted Yo Yo Honey Singh into the mainstream. See Mariah Carey at Saadiyat Nights
Abu Dhabi is hitting the high notes. Saadiyat Nights has announced that singing sensation Mariah Carey will return to the city. Over her career, Carey has sold over 220 million records. She is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with five Grammy Awards and 19 Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles. Hits include “Always Be My Baby,” “Emotions,” “Fantasy,” and “Hero.” Her iconic Christmas album, featuring “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” is a seasonal staple. Spend a night with Buena Vista All Stars
On Sunday, 8 February 2026, Buena Vista All Stars brings its “Una Noche En La Habana” Tour to Bla Bla Dubai in JBR, with doors set for an 8pm start. Translated as “One Night in Havana,” the tour promises an evening steeped in the romance of Cuba’s golden era.
