Set within its cosy home at Warehouse 22A, Piehaus has built a loyal following for its handcrafted pies, warm hospitality and sense of familiarity. Founded by Stasha Toncev, who is also behind the FACT award-winning 21grams, the brand has launched Initiative 22 in response to the current strain facing small businesses and communities alike. Named after the venue’s address, Menu 22 offers four Piehaus favourites for AED 22 each, giving guests the chance to enjoy comforting food and drinks at an affordable price point. The selection includes the Harissa Potato Pie, topped with spicy pepper relish and Omani chips; the sweet and fragrant Caramel Tahina Pie; an Aerocano for coffee lovers; and a Hibiscus Berry Iced Tea for something bright and refreshing. The offer is available for dine-in during operational hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 9am to 9pm.

Check out Dubai’s new indoor skate park
Gooder Skate Park brings a fresh jolt of energy to Alserkal Avenue, offering Dubai’s first indoor concrete skatepark in one of the city’s most creative districts. Built as a skater-owned, community-driven space, it goes beyond ramps and rails, combining the park with Habibi Skate Shop, Ollie’s Pizzeria and DRVN café under one roof. The result is part skate hub, part social hangout, with a design that keeps the action going year-round, even through the summer heat. Plus, entry is free.

Expect the unexpected at BO-CA-SU
Industrial Al Quoz is home to one of Dubai’s most intriguing new openings. BO-CA-SU pairs a dark, broody design with a sense of theatre. The space houses a beautiful bonsai collection valued at more than AED 10 million, alongside collectable trading cards including One Piece and Pokémon, giving the venue an unexpected edge. Chef Yu Hasegawa’s menu is just as memorable, from handrolls and the Japanese-inspired Jawarma to the Yoganseki Chateaubriand steak, cooked on a hot lava stone, and the cult Cappuccino Ramen. Drinks are equally playful, spanning the wasabi-laced Wasabi Rush to the silky, cocoa-dusted Caffè Tiramisù.

Enjoy a bountiful breakfast at Falcone
Falcone Dubai brings its pizza pedigree into the morning with a breakfast menu that feels playful and unmistakably Italian. Served on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 1pm, the Buongiorno offering takes the brand’s signature dough and tops it with breakfast-friendly combinations such as Spicy Tomato with chilli, parsley and egg, Potato with taleggio and rosemary, Mushroom with scamorza and Pecorino, and a rich Carbonara version with beef bacon, black pepper and egg. MANĀO is turning lunch into a full weekend affair. The FACT award-winning Thai-inspired restaurant in Wasl Vita has expanded its popular Sunday service to include Saturdays, with its à la carte weekend lunch now available from 12pm to 5pm on both days. Expect bold, balanced flavours and polished hospitality, with dishes starting from AED 39. Highlights include grilled chicken skewers, sticky rice roti, crab khanom krok, crispy seabass with mango salad, and yellow curry of prawns with cumin leaf. For dessert, Chef Abhiraj’s sticky rice with coconut ice cream and shaved ice provides a fitting finish. Reservations are recommended.
