The Provençal-inspired restaurant will debut soon at Pearl Jumeira.
Provençal charm is headed to the Pearl Jumeira shoreline as Maison Mer prepares to open at Nikki Beach Dubai this November. The new concept from Nikki Beach Hospitality Group marks the latest step in the brand’s expansion, bringing a slice of Riviera living to one of the city’s most sun-drenched addresses. Set just outside the entrance to the beach club, the restaurant will welcome guests for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.
True to its name, Maison Mer translates to “House of the Sea,” and the setting embodies this coastal spirit with breezy views and a relaxed elegance that nods to Provence and the French Riviera. The kitchen is led by Corporate Executive Chef Alessandro Pizza, working in tandem with Dubai-based Head Chef Kavish Chimajee. Together, they focus on classic French techniques and seasonings that allow ingredients to shine while capturing the flavours of the Mediterranean coast. With more than two decades of experience on the Riviera, Chef Alessandro Pizza brings a personal take on the region’s cuisine to Dubai, shaped by time spent from Nice to Marseille.
Guests can expect a menu that celebrates timeless Riviera staples. Anchovies, goat’s cheese, artichokes, garlic and figs appear across a line-up that is both familiar and finely tuned. Maison Mer’s signature Linguini aux Tomate cerise et Poisson Frais du Jour features homemade pasta coated in a silky tomato coulis and topped with the market’s freshest catch, designed for sharing at the table. The Parmigiana de Courgette layers zucchini with a “casalinga” tomato sauce, smoked scamorza, parmesan and crisp zucchini chips. There are more Provençal comforts, from warm Fougasse bread with anchovy butter to crisp socca chips, while dessert leans indulgent with a Pain Perdu scented with lavender and Provençal honey, served with Calisson ice cream.
The bar continues the theme with a cocktail list inspired by the South of France. Reimagined signatures include the Château Negroni and the Mistral Whisper/
